¶ Introduction
In Los Santos, the city of celebrities, drugs are a commonly found supply bought and sought by everyone in the city: which is why selling drugs as a job is a very viable way to make money, if you know how to manage your stock, customers and drug suppliers.
Cops and Robbers V does not endorse the use of illegal drugs in real life.
¶ How to become a Drug Dealer ?
If you want to become a drug dealer, you'll have to :
- be level 5+ on the server
- head to any of the 8 drugs suppliers
- press E while being near the NPC Drug supplier to switch to the drug dealer job.
You are now a Drug Dealer ! Congratulations !
¶ Buy supplies to sell
Once you become a drug dealer, you are then able to access your job stock which is a different storage than your inventory to store the drugs you can sell to NPCs and players.
Drugs are an illegal item, so be wary of being caught by cops with drugs on you !
Once you have drugs in your stock, you can also transfer up to 20g of each type of drugs to your inventory for PvP use using TAB on the stock menu while highlighting the drug.
There are three types of drugs you can buy and sell, from cheapest to most expensive : Heroin, Meth and Cocaine.
Heroin is the cheapest drug you can buy but also gives the least profit out of the three drugs. Heroin can be used while it is in your inventory for PvP, it will heal a % of your health per second depending on how much heroin you take at once.

Meth is slightly more expensive than heroin, but it is the best value for money drug to sell. It can also be used while is it in your inventory for PvP, to reduce incoming damage on yourself and it gives a buff to your melee attack damage (with or without weapons)

Cocaine is the most luxurious drug available on the server, making it the most profitable drug to sell but with the highest investment. It can also be used while in your inventory for PvP, to improve your stamina and running speed, depending on how much coke you take at once.

Taking too much heroin, cocaine or meth at once and/or with other drugs can give you a Drug Overdose.
¶ Sell to NPCs
Once you have your supplies of drugs to sell, the next step would be to sell them for profit by going to one of the 28 drug spots on the map to sell your drugs to buyer NPCs that spawns there.
Each drug spot on the map has their own type of drugs most commonly sold, their rate of acceptance for prices depending on the market price and their rate of “snitching” to cops.
Once you are in a drug spot location, you will see a blue circle on the spot which is the area in which you will be able to sell your drugs : once you are standing on this circle some buyer NPCs will start spawning around the spot and come straight to you to buy your drugs every ≈45 seconds.
The NPCs will then ask to buy a certain quantity of one of the 3 drugs with the price you set for this quantity : a prompt will be given for you at the top-left of your screen, if you want to accept the deal you can then press your Y. This will cause a selling animation to happen, in which you can move but not get in a vehicle or use any weapon / item while in the animation.
Please note that selling drugs can fail for multiple reasons :
- Not enough drugs : if you don't have enough of the drug the NPC wants to buy, they won't accept the deal
- You take too much time answering their deal : they will then “not be interested” anymore and will go away until the next NPC comes.
- Too many drug dealers : only up to 4 players can stay on the same drug spot. Anymore than that and no NPC will buy drugs until it goes back to 4 players or less on the spot.
- There is a dead body nearby : NPCs won't come to buy drugs if there is a dead body nearby. This includes both an NPC corpse or a dead players corpse.
- There is a shootout nearby : If people are shooting too much around the drug spot, NPCs won't spawn and come buy. They will only spawn when there hasn't been any fired shot for a while (≈30 seconds)
If you have a weapon whilst in the drug spot, NPCs will take a bit longer to spawn between deals (≈1 minute instead of ≈45 seconds)
¶ Setting custom prices
By default you have the market price set for all drugs : this means that by default you will sell your drugs at the market price which means a bit less profit but you are guaranteed to sell your drugs at every drug spot.
But as mentioned before, you can set custom prices for all drug quantities, which are between -75% to +150% of the market price.
To do so, you have to access your stock then choose the drug for which you want to change the prices. There is 2 ways to do this :
- Press F2 to open the inventory shortcut, then go to “Stock”.
- Press M to access the CNRV general menu, then go to “job menu”
You can then modify your prices to whatever price you wish your drugs to be sold at. NPCs will only buy up to 20g at once, so prices for quantities above 20g are only for other players.
The higher you set your prices compared to market prices, the higher the chance that NPCs will refuse the deal : but if you do manage your prices well, you'll get a bigger profit than with market prices !
¶ Snitching
During the day (5:00am to 8:00pm in-game time) NPCs will sometimes “snitch” to cops randomly, which means they will call other cops on you and give you the 2★ felony “Drug trafficking”
Once you have been snitched on by an NPC / spotted selling drugs by a cop on a drug spot, you cannot sell on that spot for 48 minutes and you wont be able to see the blue circle at the drug spot. Once the cooldown is over you can sell on the drug spot again as usual.
Doing /crimes and checking when the “drug trafficking” crime happened is a good way to check if the 48 minutes cooldown has passed or not.
If a cop is in a ≈10m to 15m range around you while you're selling to an NPC, you will get the “Drug trafficking” felony just like when an NPC snitches on you. As soon as the selling animation starts, cops can taze and arrest you, so watch out for hidden cops especially in hardcore servers !
¶ Sell to players
To sell to players it's way easier than selling to NPCs : all you have to do is get close to a non-emergency player then press Y to offer your drug dealer services : players will be able to buy drugs that will go to their inventory from you, giving you the money and some XP from doing so.
Players can call drug dealers if they need to buy some drugs : you can respond to any calls made by pressing Y when the call prompt shows up.
You can also call drug dealers the same way by pressing M to go to the CNRV menu, then go to “Services” then “Drug Dealer”.
¶ Stock / inventory management
You can transfer up to 20g of each drug to your inventory by pressing TAB while on the drug stock / drug dealer job menu (see above) to use the drugs for PvP, or to transfer drugs in your inventory back to your stock / supplies.
¶ Warehouse
You can also put your supplies inside warehouses to keep them safe / avoid getting them seized by cops if you get arrested. You can then retrieve them later when you are ready to sell or use them.
Only taking enough drugs to sell for a bit and storing everything else in a warehouse is a good way to avoid losing all your investment on the drugs if you get arrested !
¶ Tips & Tricks
→ Don't sell on hardcore servers : you can sell on hardcore servers, but because there are no map blips it's way easier for cops to stalk you and catch you red-handed while selling drugs, hence why it's recommended to sell on regular servers with map blips and not hardcore servers.
→ Buy drugs at the highest amount (1kg) : you'll need a warehouse to store the excess drugs you'll have to avoid everything from being seized, but buying more drugs at once costs less per gram to buy !
→ Sell with friends : drug spots aren't a safe place to be on the server, with the risk ranging from cops trying to catch you selling, criminals trying to pickpocket you or other drug dealers fighting for the spots : it's better to have one or more friends to cover each other whilst selling to avoid any kind of trouble as well as just having company while selling !
→ Be efficient with spots : go between the best spots for each drugs, especially for the cocaine as the spots that sell cocaine the most are pretty rare and most of the time also pretty popular, so with lots of competition and cops watching them.
→ No snitches at night time : during the night time, there are no snitches.
