Paramedic is a beautiful job, you are saving lives without looking at what they do and who they are. As a Paramedic, you will get a paycheck every day ($35,000).
Don't forget to read the CNRV rules.
If you want to become a Paramedic, you'll have to :
You are now a Paramedic ! Congratulations !
When a player is dead, his name and blip will start flashing grey, to revive them you will have to approach your patients body and press X. An animation will start and can't be cancelled (except if you get damage or rammed).
If you revive a cop during a shootout, you can be killed !
To heal a player you need to be inside your ambulance, get near them and press Y ! Please note that there is a ≈ 30 seconds delay between each healing.
You'll receive an alert with the player name, id and the location.
Responding to calls using Y will give you a GPS point.
You'll earn 5XP points once you arrive on scene.
As a paramedic, you have access to a radio which allows you to speak with other Paramedics and Police Officers.
If you don't want to speak in the voice chat, you can send text messages in radio channels: prefix your message with an exclamation mark !
Example : ! I need backup in Grove Street, 1 active shooter
You can access this menu via your job menu (M → Job menu) or with the /radio command.
You can turn the radio on/off and select the volume of the radio inside this menu.

Paramedics can only shoot in self-defense ! This means that according to the CNRV full rules, you are only allowed to shoot in self-defense or in defense of other paramedics trying to revive other players. That includes :
You cannot hurt any civilian or try to help cops catch a criminal in any way (shooting, ramming) other than communication and support (heal, revive), else it will be considered “Cross-teaming” and will result in you receiving a job-ban from EMS.
→ Park your ambulance in a way that it can be used as cover in case of an attack : after they aim or shoot at you, leave the ambulance and fire back.
→ Buy some weapons to defend yourself : most of the time you'll have some protection and/or people won't shoot at you, but sometimes you'll have to fight back against criminals trying to kill you to avoid being revived after, so buy at least 1 or 2 good weapons.
→ Communication is key so cooperate with cops : stay around cops that seem to pursue a dangerous individual, heal them when you can and when they need it and let them do their job while staying close and being supportive.
→ Try to play with other medics when you can : sure, you won't make as much money as if you had the monopoly on every revive and heal, but at least you can act quickly and go from one scene to another if you have help with you.
